Plaid is back! Just in time for the Fall Season, and there are many ways to wear it. Ever since bell-bottoms were brought back and the fashion evolved into skinny jeans being the pants to wear, we can note a definite rewind in the fashion world that constantly takes us back to the old school. The 90s retro phase found it’s way back somewhere in the 2007’s and it’s almost as if we are going through the 90’s year by year again. Every year a different aspect of that fashion era is introduced, and this season plaid is the 90s trend that’s making a comeback.
The high fashion world is embracing it, in their not-so-everyday wearable trends spotted by celebs. Here is Rihanna wearing a multi-print plaid maxi style blazer.

And speaking of high fashion, we can’t forget the appearances plaid made on the runway at NYFW.This plaid crossover dress was part of Tanya Taylor’s Fall 2013 line at NYFW.
Similar looks seen in Karen Walker’s Fall 2013 look, as this model graces the runway in a traditional black and white plaid pattern.

Now to the more everyday plaid looks. Newly self-proclaimed fashionista Kylie Jenner, who is known for her trendy fashion based Tumblr page (http://kalifornia-klasss.tumblr.com) is spotted in a more wearable version of plaid for the everyday girl. She was spotted rocking it how we use to back in the day, tied around the waist, a very popular trend at the moment.
The plaid button up is from the clothing line Pyrex by designer and stylist Virgil Abloh.
This next one is giving us everything, as 90’s star Brandy, took to her twitter to post this pic of herself in a oversized plaid button up, one can’t help but to reminisce on her dancing to the Moesha Theme Song in pair of oversized plaid pants.
Last but not least our favorite fashion forward babe Gwen Stefani stepping out in plaid, in a very wearable for everyone look.
